How to Register a resource / Add a system in HANA cockpit

How to add system to monitor and administration of HANA database.

Launch the SAP HANA cockpit manager by opening the below URL.

https://<hostname>:51055

Once you launch URL you will get below options.

Select Register a resource

Enter Host name

              Instance No

              Select Single container or multi container, In our case multi container

first add the system database and then add tenant database.

Click Step 2

click step 3

In step 3 you can maintain the SYSTEM user credentials.

Click step 4

In step 4 mention the resource group,if you are maintains resource group you can select appropriate resource group or else you can ignore

Click step 5

In this step you can maintain contact information for the person/user.

Review your inputs and if everything fine.

click register .

Now SYSTEM DB added in HANA cockpit sucessfully.!!

The same way you can add the Tenant DB in hana cockpit..
